Biography
Jimmy Makulis is Greek-born, but lived most of his life in Austria. Jimmy experienced his first success in 1960, when he scored a minor hit in Germany with Ein Boot, Eine Mondnacht Und Du. It was another song however that brought Jimmy some success outside the German speaking countries in 1960: Gitarren Klingen Leise Durch Die Nacht. 1961 saw Sweetheart Guitar chart in Germany, but Sehnsucht flopped. Undetermined by this Jimmy went on to have some hits through the mid-60's with songs like Ich Habe Im Leben Nur Dich (1962) and Little Moonlight-Love (1964). By 1965 his success had stopped however.
