Biography
Conny (born 28/10/43 near Berlin) or Conny Froboess, as she is known outside the German-speaking countries, started her singing career at the tender age of 8, scoring a big European hit as Kleine Cornelia with Pack' Die Badehose Ein. More hits followed like Der Kleine Mit Der Mundharmonika, before she changed her name to Conny and entered the 60s with her big hit Midi-Midinette. After participating in the Eurovision Song Contest Conny changed the course of her career, concentrating on a film career rather than a singing career. In recent years she starred in a lot of plays around Germany and appeared in episodes of the famous German detective series Derrick, Der Kommissar and Wolf.
