Biography
Esther Ofarim (born Esther Zaïed 13/06/41 in Israel) had already had some hits before the Eurovision Song Contest with her then-husband Abi Ofarim (born Abraham Reichstadt). Switzerland however decided only to enter Esther in the competition. With success. And this success also paid out for the duo with hits in the 60s like One More Dance (Your Husband Is Worse) and the immortal Cinderella Rockefella. Despite the successes in their career, their private life wasn't that successful and the marriage broke in 1970. In the course of the divorce the duo split. Esther started a solo career after the split and is still seen regularly on German TV.
