Biography
Clodagh Rogers started her career in the late 50's, early 60's as a singer in ballroom. In 1962 she released her first single Believe Me I'm No Fool, but it failed to set the hearts alight. That all changed in 1969, when her singles Come Back And Shake Me and Goodnight Midnight both managed to stall in the UK top 5. Subsequent singles stalled outside the top 20 and it took Jack In The Box to once again reach the upper regions of the UK charts. The follow-up single Lady Love Bug was her last single release however that charted. And Clodagh disappeared from view only to reappear as a musical star in the mid-80's. She's best known for her roles in Blood Brothers and Pump Boys And Dinettes. (notes by René van der Drift)
