Biography
If this trio looks familiar it could be because they represented their country in Dublin in 1971. They are the most popular group in their country and they are invariably chosen to represent the Swiss at major worldwide music festivals.
The girl Susan Schell is American and although over the years she has lost her american accent, she intersperses her conversation with late 50s slang-terms like "Man, dig that crazy beat."
Marc Dietrich is the clean-shaven one.
The chap with the carefully trimmed beard is Peter Reber, also the composer of the song. He has had a classical music education and spent three years in Wales studying Psychology. Peter is the oldest member of the group and is a multi-instrumentalist. He says he can play about 12 instruments reasonably well. Somebody asked him if he could play them all at the same time - he promptly switched on a cassette-tape of himself doing just that. [From the RTÉ Commentary]
