Biography
Jürgen Marcus (born Jürgen Beumer 06/06/48 in Herne, Germany) started his career in show business as Claude in the German version of the musical Hair. After meeting Jack White he scored some big hits with songs like Eine Neue Liebe Ist Wie Ein Neues Leben and Ein Festival Der Liebe. Just before the Eurovision Song Contest the friendship between Jürgen and Jack started to crumble, as Jürgen wanted to take a change of musical direction. Jürgen and Jack kept working together until 1978, but under the influence of his friend Gerd Baier, Jürgen made his change effective. It earned him critical acclaim from the pop journalists, something that hadn't happened before. He never quite achieved his previous success however.
Jo Plée is most famous for his work as an arranger and conductor in the late-70's and early 80's with the singing Irish family Kelly Family. They had hits under his guidance with songs like David's Song, Last Rose Of Summer, Ein Vogel Kann Im Käfig Nicht Fliegen and Alle Kinder Brauchen Freunde.
