Biography
The full names of the singers are Günther Hoffmann (born 04-10-'51) and Michael Hoffmann (born 03-12-'50). Prior to this year's Eurovision Song Contest they had had already a string of hits in Germany, beginning with 1977's Himbeereis Zum Frühstück and following through with Alles, Was Ich Brauche, Bist Du.
Volker Lechtenbrink (born 18-08-'44 in Cranz, Eastern Prussia (now Poland)) fled with his parents to Bremen, when he was 10 days old. Volker started his career as an actor in the 50s. He made movies like Die Brücke, starred in TV series like Alle Meine Tiere and plays like Der Eiserne Gustav. It's not until 1976 that Volker started recording as a singer and so far some fairly successful albums like Der Macher and Leben - So Wie Ich Es Mag were released. As a composer Volker contributed to albums from singers like Rumanian singer Peter Maffay (Steppenwolf).
