Biography
18 years old and still a school pupil, Britt Synnøve Johansen is awaiting the results of her Advanced Level exams next month. She is called "The little girl with the great voice", having sung with various choirs and acquiring a thorough musical training. She has made numerous appearances with local bands and groups on the west coast of Norway, where she lives.
Inge Enoksen is 28 years old. Music is his work and his hobby. He is employed in a music shop in his home town of Stavanger, and plays keyboards in a local dance band. Several of his compositions have been issued on LP. This is his first appearance at an international festival.
>From the age of 14, Leiv N. Grøtte (34) was a passionate "rocker" which then led to a more serious interest in music. Graduated as a teacher of music, which was his profession for four years. Since then he has worked as a text writer in an advertising agency.
42 years of age, Pete Knutsen is one of the more weighty personalities on Norway's pop music scene. He has been a rock musician since the mid 1960s. Playing guitar and keyboards, he is also a conductor and arranger, and has co-operated with most top Norwegian pop artists. [Notes from the Official 1989 programme]
