Biography
Can Urgurluér was born in Istanbul in 1970. He has studied piano and singing and is presently attending the Technical University in Istanbul. Can's relative Sevket Urgurluér is one of the authors of the song presented at the 36th Eurovision Song Contest.
Reyhan Soykarçi was born in Istanbul 21 years ago. She started her musical studies in the children's choir of Istanbul radio. She has been attending the State Conservatary of Classical Music in Turkey since 1981.
Izel Çeliköz was born in Yalova in 1969. She is attending the Technical University in Istanbul. She took part in several song contests both in Turkey and abroad and has been awarded many prizes.
Aysel Gürel, the other author of this year's Turkish entry also wrote the lyrics to the 1983 Turkish entry Opera by Çetin Alp and the Shortwave.
Turhan Yükseler was born in 1952 in Istanbul and began his career as a composer in 1970. [Notes from the Official 1991 Programme by RAI]
