Biography
William Mangion, singer, composer and author of the song 'This Time' is a well established musician. He began his career as a vocalist and keyboard player and has performed in Malta, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands. In 1984 he formed the band 'Getting Closer'. It has become one of Malta's most successful and popular groups and collaborates regularly with foreign artists.
Later this year, they will release their second album. William sang at the Castlebar International Song Festival in 1977 with the song 'Last Time'.
Joseph Sammut will conduct for Malta. He is conductor of the National Orchestra at the Manoel Theatre. The musical arranger of 'This Time' is Vincent Tempera.
