Biography
Moira Stafrace's singing career began in 1982 at the age of 12. She took up the guitar and joined a band at the age of 15, and began a prizewinning career besides furthering her stage talents. She was voted Best Personality at the 1992 Malta Song For Europe Festival and has since represented Malta abroad on many occasions, including an appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest in Millstreet last year backing William Mangion. Also in 1993 she began a collaboration as a songwriter with Christopher Scicluna, which culminated in their success at the 1994 Song For Europe Festival.
Christopher Scicluna, who joins Moira Stafrace to sing their joint composition, started music studies at the age of 8, and spent the 1980s freelancing in the United Kingdom. In 1993 he composed the winning song at the Malta Song For Europe Festival which was sung by William Mangion in last year's contest in Millstreet. [Notes from the Official 1994 Programme by RTÉ]
