Biography
Performer and co-writer Pinar Ayhan was born in 1972 in Diyarbakir. She graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Division of English Literature and Language in 1995. During her university years she participated in several music and entertainment programs in Turkish Radio and Television as a speaker and singer. She received the "Best Singer Award" in Pamukkale Music and Culture Festival Song Contest 1996, and also represented Turkey as an invited participant in FYR Macedonia's Interfest Music Festival Song Contest in 1996. She has competed in the national finals of the Eurovision Song Contest before. In 1996 with "Var misin Söyle" and in 1997 with "Sen Nerede Ben Orada" by Erdinç Tunç - she was the runner up both times. Currently, she is focusing completely on her musical career with the S.O.S.
Sühan Ayhan was born in 1969 in Ankara. He graduated from medical school at the University of Ankara in 1992, and has specialized in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He started his musical career 15 years ago, with Orkun Yazgan and Selim Öncel, forming the group S.O.S. He has participated in various national ESC selections . In 1991 and 1995 as a singer, and in 1996 and 1997 singing backing vocals. Currently, he is continuing his medical carreer as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the Gazi University Medical School as well as pursuing his musical carreer together with his wife Pinar Ayhan and the S.O.S.
Orkun Yazgan was born in 1970 in Ankara. He studied political science and public administration in the Middle East Technical University. He started his musical career 15 years ago in the group S.O.S. He has participated in various national ESC selections both as a composer and as a backing vocalist. Since 1996, besides pursuing his musical career with the S.O.S., he also works as a TV reporter.
