The winning song will be chosen by televoting, an expert jury and a TRM jury counting 1/3 each. Originally, Natalia Gordienco (ESC 2006) and Edict were in the line-up with the songs So alive and Run away, but they withdrew before the contest was held. The national final will be hosted at the Theatre of opera and ballet in Chisinau.
