boring song
UNITE should have won.
Well... here is Denmark...
Do you remember about one comercial when in the middle of the ocean there was a tower which pointed the way for the sailors and in it, there were two guys dancing and eating a mayonaise, exactly Thomy, and cheering up on a melodu similar to this one???
Or perhaps, when you are sitting at home, watching TV and watching the comercials between your favourite series and listen a comercial about womens light pack palomas???
Well, that is Denmark this year...
But, its fine...
Sometimes...
All Night Long sounds like Good Doggie, No Bone by Reba McEntire from The Fox and the Hound 2.
I'm impressed of no one having realised how good Until We're Satisfied is. IT'S A MASTERPIECE! DAMN!
The winning song is a replay of Germany 2007, even a downgraded one.
I EXPECTED MORE FROM DENMARK,BUT MAYBE THEY WILL BE IN FINAL WHO KNOWS.BUT THEIR BEST ENTRY WAS OLLSON BROTHERS WITH FLY ON THE WINGS OF LOVE.FROM THEN NO GOOD ENTRY FOR DENMARK. GO MACEDONIA
Once again Denmark sucks!!!
Rougement
No neither did I - bring back the builder in the feathers and frock. This year's is like something his stiletto trod in.
So boring! So dated! So pedestrian! He does his best and looks nice enough. I never thought I'd say it but bring back DQ!
Not so bad indeed
Great song, same style as The Ark last year. I like it a lot
oh i have started liking this one....really liking it
Pedro
Yes I agree those are the two best. I liked Rita she was a great character. But there are always great songs stranded in Portuguese preselection. Usually sung by black guys sadly. Uma Lua En Cada Mao was fantastic a few years, as was As Minhas Gitarras (2006 I think).
Another duff song for the semis
Pure crap...
Molly Parton,
HaHa... You are good!
I dont think neather, that it has so much in common with "Talking to you"
Mic Simon
Hmmmm so he did a pop idol show and a stricly come dancing show. I knew it. Pfft. But thanks for the clarification. I can't hear Talking To You in it though.
SO FAR SWITZERLAND IS THE BEST.
Andreas Bager:
Du er jo en landsforræder!
I think Simon is a great winner for Denmark - I had 2 favorites, Kendra & Simon (as nmbr 2), but everyone ells than Dreams wouæd be good! I think (and hope) that Simon can get us to the final, and will make a great result there too!!
Molly Parton,
Yes - Simon has been winner of another talent Contest (Scenen er din/The stage is yours) few years ago, and was close to winn "shall we dance" after that, so he is popular in Dk, and that was also the reason why I already from the begining made the conclussion, that he was a favorit without ever had heared the song at that moment!
To all of you that think the song reminds you a little of Jakob Sveistrups - Talking to you, maybee it's because Jacob Launbjerg also was one of the writers behind that
We do have great songs, but in the past 10 years probably only one or two stand out (Inês and Rita). The rest are either dull or crap (you can choose between one of this 2).
Pedro
As I remember it Portugal used to send fabulous songs. The unremarkable ones crept in around 1997...
This song isn´t bad but it will most likely pass by unnoticed. But still, best of luck to Denmark!

Whether western countries do well or not has nothing to do with the songs. If you look, the first semi has 10 eastern countries, and the second semi has 9. So by all accounts one western song will get through! Hurrah - what a victory for common sense!
It's not bad, but not that great either... It seems one of those unremarkable songs we (Portugal) use to send...
Congratulations Simon.
I knew it was going to win but i hoped it wouldn't. Kendra should have won or UNITE.
But i guess it'll "grow" like "Talking to you" did.
Best of luck.
after lithuania and switzerland the best so far
I agre with 'vote the uk'
THis song can surprise like Talking to you did in 2005. And yes, western countries are doing well by now.
Vote UK
Musically this is miles behind TALKING TO YOU, and melodically a 4 year old could have done it. As fro Celebration, he sounds like he only has one glass of flat Carlsberg for the whole party. And no I won't be voting for the UK until the British public picks something decent. No chance of that then.
Please tell me that this Simon Mathew-with-just-the-one-T won some kind of Pop Idol show and that this is why the Danes have picked it? There must be some reason because it's surely not the song?
