In Malta May 2nd to 5th
Romania: [UPD] Mihai to compose song for Eurovision 2009
In his press release, Mihai revealed the following:
"The Gozo festival, will have, also, other Eurovision Guest Stars including Claudia Faniello (Maltasong 2007, 2008) - to whom Mihai would like to compose a song for Eurovision 2009 ... as he sees her a great artist and a great voice with a very good potential to win Eurovision 2009 with a HUGE SONG!"
It is still unknown whether this entry will be submitted in Romania or in Malta. In recent years, rules of the Romanian and the Maltese national finals allowed entries from songwriters originating from both countries.
During his stay in Malta, Mihai will be the special guest of 'Xarabank' and 'Hadd Ghalik' both produced by WE and aired on TVM.

well..i just hope he will be very sad next yhear when biondo will beat him in selectia nationala...he is too "mega-star"....give me a break..yees it's true he obtained for us 4th place but is treated as if he won at least 2 times eurovision ...

Indeed composing for claudia, MIHAI will be WELL REKNOWN IN MALTA as he still is actually his 8th time in MALTA...something interesting and unique he found from the MALTESE PPL.
Claudia was the MALTESE RUNNER-UP IN THIS YEAR MALTESE SELECTION WITH THE GREAT 'CARAVAGGIO' still Claudia need more experience to represent us, she's too young...maltese want to hear more your voice develop rather than freeze on stage.
If CLAUDIA will have GREAT SONGS NEXT YEAR ALL MALTESE WILL BACK HER LIKE THIS YEAR. GODDLUCK

You omly hear from this great star once Eurovision starts. What does he do during rest of the year ?
POOR MIHAI! WITH SUCH NEWS ITEMS HE IS ONLY BUT DEGRADING HIMSELF! COMPOSING A SONG FOR FANIELLO = DISASTER! MIHAI SHOULD CONCETNRATE ON HIS OWN SONGS. SUCH NEWS ITEMS MAKE ME THINK HE HAS NOTHING ELSE GOING IN HIS LIFE!
It is indeed a few weeks ago we had a non-news item about Mihai the Romanian superstar who had chartsuccess all over Europe with his song Tornero which became 4th at the Athens Eurovision contest.
