New compilation album

Serbia: Zeljko and Jelena in Balkan routes

Zeljko Joksimovic and Jelena Tomasevic participate in a new project which aims to bring together music from the entire Balkan area in a series of CDs, the first of which has already been released in Greece for the rest of the world.

Each of the CDs in the Balkan routes series will contain a selection of songs from the Balkans and will be dedicated to one prominent personality of the area. The first one is dedicated to Serbian pioneer scientist Nicola Tesla and it contains 15 songs by artists from many Balkan countries, hand picked by Dimitris Meidanis and released by Protassis Music productions.

Jeljko Joksimovic participates in this first CD with Nicola Tesla, an instrumental song he wrote a year ago, sung by Jelena Tomasevic. The CD was introduced to the Greek media during the press conference held today at the Serbian Embassy in Athens.

Ardit Gjebrea - Eja is the winner of FIK 1995 and indeed one of his best songs ever and of course one of the most memorable FIK winners for us who watched it during the 90s.

Bosnia & Herzegovina has the best song of the Balkans and one of the best song this year. FYR Macedonia's entry is the worst although Croatia aren't any better, its kinda funny though
