Iceland: Euroband's debut album released
The Icelandic pop duo Friðrik Ómar and Regína Ósk released their debut album, entitled This is my life. The album contains 11 tracks, including their entry in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest , the karaoke version and a remix of it ,and some covers of past Eurovision Song Contest songs.

Don't Leave Without Me Now is the English cover of Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi, Switzerland 1988, Við sigrum að ári! is the Icelandic cover of Making your mind up, UK 1981, and In My Dreams is a cover of Wig Wam's entry, Norway 2005. By your side is the English version of Regína Ósks Þér við hlið, preselection song in 2006. Thinking of you and Fire are the English versions of Fridrik Omárs' Það Sem Verður and Eldur, preselection songs in 2006 and 2007. Of course A ba ni bi is a cover of Israel's winning song in 1978 and Hold me now a cover of Ireland 1987, Johnny Logan's second victory in the contest.

I am not that possitive about Jónsi. I think his song was terribly boring!

@ Molly Parton, and let's not mention how disappointing Anna Vissi's result must have been for Valentina...
I am very interested in the English version of Regina's song in the national selection of 2006, "By your side". That song was amazing. "This is my life" is very overrated by Eurovisionfans, in my opinion!
This Hero character is not as annoying as that Valentina who kept on about Anna Vissi every 10 seconds a couple of years ago, but he's getting there slowly.
Many 'heroes' were shot in the head while fighting, and they didn't even notice it! 
Shame that Iceland won last night at the retro bar thing in London
I just hope that the trend doesn't continue, and for once they have actually predicted the winner.

Iceland is amazing this year...I was watching Icelandic national selection and I expected Iceland to win...I hope that they are going to make nice come back for Iceland after all this years...They may have some problems with that 1st position of singing...but anyway I hope that I will see them in the final...They desirved that...

It´s mp3's but it sounds very good. The new versions are great, in my opinion A ba ni bi, Dont leave without me and In my dreams are best of the cover versions.

1 advise, just ignore IT, I learned my lesson. The more you react to IT, the worse it becomes. IT is a little child withy at least 7 different profiles which IT uses just to state IT's own nonsense and drive everyone on the wall. Just just ignore it, I know it can be tempting but better not to....

And no these are not my favorites, but nowadays there are more reasons why certain countries get top positions.
If I would follow my favorites, my top 5 would be : Belgium, France, Portugal, Slovenia and Serbia
If anyone is having trouble finding accomodation in Belgrade I have 2 LUX rooms for rent, one with double bed, the other with 2 single beds. Sole use of bathroom, access to kitchen. Appartment is in central belgrade in the dorcol district walking distance to pedestrian zone and bars. All ages welcome, bedding and towels provided. AC, Wireless internet and cable TV.
