Day 4: Cyprus, FYR Macedonia and Portugal
Song 17: Cyprus – Evdokia – Femme Fatale
Evdokia from Cyprus brings on the stage same four male dancers she used in the Cypriot national final and one additional male backing singer. They are doing a typical Greek cabaret dance where they dance around Evdokia focusing on her as the centre of their attention. Eventually she is lifted on to a table draped in red and afterwards the drapes are removed to reveal a large red carnation. Finally the artist steps back onto the stage stepping on the shoulders of the men. A spirited performance full of national character and pride.
Song 18: FYR Macedonia – Tamara, Vrcak and Adrian – Let Me Love You
Here we have a screen with three panels on the stage with a door in the middle. On each side you have pictures of Vrcak and Adrian. The focus is mostly on Tamara, while the boys keep going in and out the doors of the screen and contribute to the song by rapping. There are also three male dancers taking part in the youthful dance routine as Tamara gives a strong vocal performance. The song is completely in English.
Song 19: Portugal – Vânia Fernandes - Senhora do mar
Portugal has a very similar performance to the one we saw at their national final. The five backing singers give Vania's vocal performance of this anthemic song depth and they also perform a routine where they end up all together.

Talking about Portugal, of course!
Great song, great singers, great instrumental, great theme, wonderfull country! the winner for me! Maybe the background should be something like a beach, sand, ocean... I think that it would be great if it was the ocean seen as if we were sitted in the sand... that would be great... and maybe in black and white, who knows! Please, think about that!
My dear, frustrated friend, GROW UP.

Best wishes from Turkey.
@konstantin: are u sooo insecure wit urself u gotta spread ur brainwashed spam all over this site?? so u wanna call macedonia or fyrom vardarska?? ok how bout everyone starts calling hellas the republic of morea or achaea or one of the other names other nations used to call the hellenic republic... more peder eden
p.s ppl im not saying ne1 should, the greek state is called the hellenic republic and it should only be referred to as hellas or greece, its just konstantin, arras ect need to see how nationalistic and unintelligent they sound
thankyou/ eu xaristo 4 ur time
ok can someone please tell me why there is sooo much echo in all of the rehearsals?? i mean damn their voices all sound distorted!

portugal- FANTASTIC!!!! i hope lisboa 2009
Portugal is presenting the best song. Really poetic lyrics with a very good voice and performance. I suspect that people in Europe will highly appreciate it.
12 point from Holland to Portugal!!!
@Muki
its FYROM
Macedonia is Greek!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Till know I consider Ukraine as ultimate favorite. But anything can change the final night.
and it will be even better with the clothes!
The song and performance from Cyprus are interesting, but I see it as a good song like so many others. But it's good, don't misunderstand me.
Macedonia is OK for me. I just think the singer should be a little bit less arrogant at the interview, I mean, I would like it more if she was more simple and polite... and funny... you understand what I'm tryin to say... lol... but I like their dramatic/theatrical beginning.
Portugal has simply a great performance, a great song, great voices, and everything in a simple way! Vânia is so simple at the interview... and so cute! And then, on stage, they are really powerfull... it starts very dramatic and it ends so powerfully... gosh... and at the same time, everything is so simple... great!!!
I dont have any allegiance to Portugal, but I must say I'm incredibly proud of their singer. Every time I see a clip of her speaking about her song or anything, I find her so simply beautiful and pleasant. I wish the Portuguese team all the success and hopefully her simple performance will bring the victory to Lisbon.
p.s is anyone going to understand they are reeds under the sea in the background?
I am from Cyprus and to be honest i wasnt counting Cyprus in one the countries that could make it to the final!
After watching this video, i am changing my mind a bit and i have some hopes for my country too!
But even if Cyprus does not pass the semi at least the whole performance and presentation will be good and that is important too! :-)
Good luck to Cyprus!
Favorites: Poland, Serbia, Norway, Ukraine and Greece!
Bravo for our Neighbours FYR Macedonia.Good song nice performance, anyway Adrijan should definently wear a hat he looks nice with hat, like this he is not that pretty.Good luck to you as well as to Cyprus and Portugal
Cyprus looks very interesting and Portugal is wonderful.
FYRMacedonia, on the other hand, is absolutely awful in my view: totally unoriginal, with messy vocals and choreography, extremely poor English lyrics sung in a hideous accent, just a very **very** cheap song. A far cry from Tose Proeski and Carolina. It would be a crime if this piece of rubbish were to reach the final and take the place of a worthwhile entry, but I think it probably will courtesy of neighbourly voting from Serbia, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Turkey. Such a pity...
The best today: DENMARK
albania as well
lina
my mistake. FYROM though, will receive high points from turkey n bulgaria also but yeah...obviously they r not ex yugos...hehe
@project zero, only Croatia and Serbia( who vote only) is ex-yugo in 2 semifinal, in the past years from 28 countreys in semifinal FYROM always take 9-10 place even and if the song was bad, and that beacuse of diaspora, this year is not the same , is 19 countreys in the semi . and the song is not good to get points without diaspora help. 2004 with Tose was the best entry from FYROM.
Good luck to Portugal!!
FYROM will quallify thx to all ex yugos voting in the 2nd semi
12 point makedonya.number one makedonya& tamara-vrchak-adriaon (yoksun)
