Day 5: Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Norway & Poland
Song 7: Azerbaijan - Elnur and Samir - Day After Day
Another stunning performance from Elnur and Samir at this afternoon's rehearsals. Strong imagery involving angels and devils combined with plenty of special effects and pyrotechnics produce certainly one of the most dynamic performances seen at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. There is no doubting the vocal talents of Elnur and Samir who both produce soaring and varied vocals throughout their performance. The song has been cleverly constructed to incorporate the Maugham singing from their native Azerbaijan into the song.
Song 8: Slovenia - Rebeka Dremelj - Vrag Naj Vzame
The most improved performance in the second camera rehearsal came from Slovenia's Rebeka whose routine has been transformed. This is now a slick and professional performance which entertains throughout. Rebeka starts the song incarcerated in cage constructed of neon fluorescent bars, whilst being guarded by two helmet wearing security men dressed in black leather. She breaks free of her prison and removes the silver gown which had chains attached, to reveal a stunning dual coloured outfit of lime and purple. At one stage she drags the men around the stage by leads attached around their necks. This aggressive performance certainly entertains and is well suited to the techno beat of the song.
Song 9: Norway: Maria Haukaas Storeng - Hold On, Be Strong
This afternoon we see a sophisticated and elegant performance from Maria of Norway. Her vocals are note perfect and are complemented by her backing performers. Looking very sleek in a deep blue dress she performs her song with joyful enthusiasm which transfers well to the TV viewer. The staging and movement of the performers whilst being transitional certainly suites the retro feel of the song.
Song 9: Poland - Isis Gee - for Life
Once again we have another truly breathtaking performance by Isis Gee from Poland. We see plenty of charming smiles from Isis which adds warmth to this sentimental song which obviously means so much to her. She displays the full breadth of her considerable vocal ability which she handles with fine control. She is dressed in an elegant virgin white dress. During her performance she makes her way from the back of the stage via an extended walkway to the front of the stage. A beautiful performance from Isis.

now being in Belgrade and having seen them personally, i dont think that they are a couple at all!
4 boring songs, and most of all 4 horrible performances, oh my god
@ Galandar
thanks for the response!
well of course its their personal life and it doesn't have anything to do with the contest, i was just wondering thats all =]
i think their song should do well anyway, its really strong i think
Will T,
Maybe i am wrong, but i think they are. It is obvious from their manerism. Although they are not openly gays. But even if they are gays, i don't blame them. It is their personal life and has nothing to do with their performance at ESC.
I just read somewhere that the Azerbaijan pair are a gay couple... can anyone tell me if this is true or not?
Apparently they're open about it within their circle of friends but not to the general public... but i don't know whether it's just hearsay or not.
not that its a bad thing though! just curious to know
slovenia is very good could be a dark horse good luck

Wow Slovenia....very good performance and presentation !!!
Funny guy again. "There is no doubting the vocal talents of Elnur and Samir who both produce soaring and varied vocals throughout their performance."
I doubt very much their vocal talents! Varied vocals? Oh yes... Hysterical, screeching, screaming monsters!
Good luck Elnur and Samir, our hearts are beating for you. And Maria and her song are adorable. Good luck.
It`s coming,
Day After Day!!!!!!!
Thanks Maria for removing the guitars
Youre again on my top
Norway and Poland should pass to the final!
My favorite entries along with Oro from Serbia!
Good luck! :-)
Wow, what a stunning performance by Maria! I'm really getting excited now! A Eurovision classic true to form. I'm starting to think Norway might qualify after all. Get me to a doctor, quick!
Azerbaijan is really fantastic at this rehearsal. I can't believe my eyes, they sing it live, their voices are so strong. Although i didn't like it before, now i think it is one of the best entries this year. Good luck Azerbaijan!
Azerbaijan - perfect!!! Bravo guys!
Slovenia - much better and seems to be real qualifier now
Norway - nice song, nice girl! But nothing special. I wish her to qualify
Unfortunately, no video of Poland yet
Yes Martin
Isis have big voice and she is a big chance for Poland since 1994 ;]
EUROPE, PLS VOTE 4 ISIS
Maria's performance was much better this time. I think she will easily qualify.
I really like the Azeri entry, a winner to me. Elnur and Samir sound great live.
Vote for Isis!
This is true that Isis Gee & "For a life" presents outstanding ballad song with very powerfull voice. For the second time in the history of polish entries we have this type of song (do you remember Edyta Górniak in 1994?)
I really belive that eurovision fans 'll vote for this compose this year. U know, we don't have a big support from ours neighbours but I belive that song is the most important thing in ESC.
So please, If U like it - VOTE FOR ISIS!
ps. I like the other entries this year too: Denmark, Swizerland - great compose and those lyrics- era stupendo ), UK, France- as always & of course Charolotte Perrelli - she's a diva. Also Israel entry is quiet intresting, they were suprising me...
Greetings from Wroc-love ))
I like Slovenias song.. but I am afraid I find this show pretty cheap. Really don't like it at all...
Norway has gotten rid of the guitars!!

Much better this time for Norway - they should easily get to the final with this wonderful woman!
Tumbs up & fingers crossed for Maria - Norway, see you in the final
I hope Poland, Slovenia and Norway will qualify for the final
VOTE FOR NORWAY!!!
I get so proud of being nothern-norwegian when I see my fellow notherner Maria sings so beautifully and profesionally.
Maria is truely the personification of a northern-norwegian midsummer night. Jusat look at her, and you'll see the midnightsun in her eyes...
Maria has a great song and sings it perfectly. This is a "no-brainer"... VOTE FOR NORWAY!!!
Great improvements. Go Maria, see you in the final!
