Virus infection hits German girl group
Germany - One Angels Disappeared
Germany appeared on the stage today for their second technical rehearsal missing one of the girl singers from the for piece group. The forth girl's position on stage was taken up by a backing singer. This was rather strange to watch as the other three members on stage were dressed in full costume while the forth girl was dressed in jeans and T-shirt. The new girl did not know any of the dance moves.
The general feeling among the press was that the No Angels had problems with the sound, particularly with harmonizing. Today's sound rehearsal was certainly stronger than Mondays.
esctoday.com have just received news from the Germany delegation, that one of the group has a virus infection and that she will be well enough to performed in the first dress rehearsal on Thursday.

ERM germany are good this yr n usually r! roger was brilliant last yr! id still rather see cinema bizarre instead of no angels, yeh they were off key, but i want to believe its just coz the lead singer was sick

That's funny Gee-Oh: I quite like Finland, Portugal and Romania, I even think Portugal deserves to be amongst the best ten this year. Now that's a real singer! 
No Angels may even win, I don't give damn. As long as Romania and Finland won't pass the semi, and Portugal won't win, I don't care about the others. Thsese 3 just get over my nerves. Romania isn't what we want, us...the public wanted something else. The romanian musical mafia and TVR wanted desperately Nico and Vlad to go to Belgrade, so they did everything possible in order to accomplish that. I resend the entry, so I hope it will do bad. Finland is just noise, no music...So no reason to pass the semi. Portugal I find overrated and Vania too. She is for Top 10 in the final, but not winning. In the rest, I don't care who wins. It could be Armenia, Ukraine or Russia or Moldova, Estonia, or Georgia - I don't care. Anyone but not Portugal.
No matter what people say Germany will do well this year as the song isn't over produced to hide weak vocals like a few countries have done this year and the public will see straight through those so called singers.

Okay, of course, it's up to your personal taste.
But then don't present your - IMO - bad taste as universal opinion.
And concerning Melina: As I said, I like her comments much more than yours because she just has a clue what she's talking about AND she is not insulting other people and countries in such a senseless way like you do it.
I'm sorry, boy, but your comments are completely inverse to the European thought of coming together in a musical competition. If the Western countries haven't shared this thought but acted like you some years ago, then Romania wouldn't be in the competition nowadays because - let me say - your country hasn't sent THAT marvellous songs in the beginning, too...
Germany is trying and we're making an effort. Nearly everytime. You can left Gracia out, but just because she ruined the song with her performance because she was nervous. She was punished with a last place - that's enough, I think.
But except her, Germany's bringing musical variety and quality on stage since Max. And we don't get our deserved points - like Romania do.
No special song, no good voices, no quality song, should better go home to old germany...
Maybe they´ll DISSAPAIR one by one during the week... hehe

Melina is not the only one who is supporting the Finnish entry this year!I like the Finnish song this year because it's different from the others and it's my type of song.I am not Finnish,ok?
And by the way,I'm not saying that I would not like No Angels to get a bad placing in the ESC because they really have the best song out of the big four this year and after Cinema Bizarre I preferred them to win the German National Final.

Sorry but you are wrong on so many levels. Germany has sent some great entries especially Max from 2004, which is one of the best entries ever in my opinion. Texas Lightning had a very charming entry while Roger Cicero brought a good bit of musical sophistication, which you rarely get in this competition. They aren't bad songs cos they ain't your taste as evidenced by the fact that a lot of people rate them very highly.
Secondly, Melina is Finnish, if she is backing Finland is it possibly because she is being patriotic and wants to see her country do well rather than being psychotic as you so delicately put. Finland also have the best music video this year along with France.

I call Melina a fanatic and a psycho, because she is! She is supporting those finnish-freaks no matter what, and she dares to compare that noise they sing with decent songs like Believe and Secret Combination... And regarding germany, I don't like any of their entries, they send a song...just because they have to send it, they don't put effort, nothing catchy in those entries, nothing spetcacular, just common and boring: Stefan Raab, Max, Gracia, Texas Lightning, Roger Cicero...and this year the Spice Girls' wannabees - No Angels... Not a potential winner, nothing. At least Spain is putting an effort, although is sending a crcus, but that circus will end up in Top 10 in the Final...

I remember Javine was hit badly by it in 2005. It's pretty common.
I just hope it doesn't spread to Dustin - would that be like bird flu or something? They'd have to evacuate the stadium

Me, I hope, the Finnish singer will recover in time...
Germany and Finland are not among the winners nor the favourites, so...they better return home. Peace!
They may well not participate... In 3 or 4 pieces, the result will be the same - they'll be in the Final next year too, so who cares? And for Finland too, the 1st semifinal will be good withouth all that noise from the finnish band, right fanatic-Melina? Or shall I call U Psycho?

Charlotte had the flu before she went on her promo tour and was asked to rest her voice. That's why she didn't sing live in some of the TV shows.
Andy Abraham got a vocal infection aswell, but hes recovered as it was quite a few weeks ago.
