New album
Brainstorm concert in Riga !
Brainstorm will also be having a concert in Valmiera, Latvia on the 7th of August at the Jana Dalina Stadium kicking off at 20.30 EET. This will be followed by the concert in Riga on the 9th of August at the Mezaparks Song Festival Grounds scheduled to be held at 20.20hrs EET. The band has been touring Latvia and Russia promoting their latest album Tur Kaut Kam Ir Jabut. The promo tour has taken them to Moscow, Kaliningrad, St.Petersburg, Ventspils and Jelgava.
Lead singer Renars Kaupers has been on the Eurovision stage on 3 ocassions: he represented Latvia at the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with the band Brainstorm, he has hosted the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest in Riga along with Marija Naumova( Eurovision 2002 winner), he was the co host of the special Eurovision Congratulations Show in Copenhagen in 2005 along with Katrina (Eurovision 1997 winner).

Brainstrom is one of the rare bands what I remember from Eurovision song contest! Well done, Latvia!
Hopefully, they will come one day to Munich - I soo would like to see them live...
"My Star" took a while to grow on me, but I really like it now

when I watched their entry in 2000, it remembered me at first the Russian band "Mummy Troll" which represneted Russia in the following 2001 maybe their succesfull entry was the reason why "Mummy Troll" was chosen for Russia... but unfortunately failed...
anyway I love brainstorm and wish them good luck!!!

My favorite Brainstorm song : "Thunder without rain" . They even get MTV EMA award for that song , but Skamp that year deserved that award .
Their songs in Latvian sound much better. I love "online", they've had about 4 or 5 Latvian albums. I never think the English ones measure up.

I didn't hear there eurovision song , but I don't like their other songs 
I like this band very much and I liked 'my star'. Good luck to them.
"My star" was my favourite entry in 2000 and Renars was such a charming host in 2003
there are two songs of this band which i love: my star, and maybe. And li like the style of the leading singer very much, he has a very pleasant vooice for my ears
