i listened and watched to all the entries of this OGAE second chance cntest. First impression: allmost all of the entries are better songs than the actual entries we got from the same countries in the ESC 2008, but i di not find one single song among these, which could drive me totally mad or who would give make me vote for it. i generally kthe irish, the danish, the dutch, the azeri, and the fyromian entry. Israel is very good, Germany is just ok, Serbia is also just ok..Portugal and Spain is awfull, these were the only 2 entries i did not like. The lyrics of the spanish song reminds me of a kind of requiem for the fate og the Big4 in the actual esc
JOHN today
Revelation are my favourites in the Last Choir Standing competition - the guy has a great voice.
Love their version of this song.
How do we vote then?
LOL Antonio, we're not deaf, it's just that not everyone likes ethnic music.
The results will be announced on October the 25th not on August the 25th, see the official site:

Well , it'z not me who supports theze rumours , but another euro-site ...
Except for the video clip , the song seems really nice ! Shiri Maimon is my top singer , and i've seen her live at her concert in NYC for the hebrew community ; p-e-r-f-e-c-t ! "bachtsava hachi hazak , shebaolam elachem lemanech...."
@ Adir Israel
By the way , as i love Israel plz add me! my msn is in my profile.
Well, I like the Portuguese song , but to be honest it is nothing special... and there are much better songs in OGAE'S final. I listened to all the Portuguese songs in the Portuguese pre-selection, and there were at least 5 other songs much better, more original and fresh/modern! The amazing thing was that the most voted song in the first 2 rounds ended up in third place in the third round!...
Lol , how can it be possible not to like the portuguese song.
It has components of pure ethnical portuguese music with celtic influences, the girls are awsome, the voices perfect ...
Gush, are everyone deaf and blind?
Ai Linda Ai Linda is a materpiece ...
Portuguese song is ssso beautiful!
For me the absolute winner is Sweden: great music and beautiful lyrics!! Great songs too from Poland, Norway and UK (love that song, listen to a cover by a gospel choir in Last Choir Standing: http://nl.youtube.co(...)/watch?v=r4Q9PctXU0E )
I really wonder why the Belgian and Dutch OGEA couldn't come up with better choices for a song to represent their countries: there were so many songs to choose from that are better than these two. And it's a pity that some of the translations are so poor that the lyrics of songs don't make much sense.
@Adir Israel I apsolutley agree with you...there is so many famous singers that did gay clips...like Robbie Williams,Christina Aguilera...but they are not gays...
Gooooooooo Shiri
My favourite definatelly...
Alex 31st! Shiri isn't lesbian :-) and be sure she isn't!
She only did a lesbian clip and song, but lol, it doesn't mean she has to be lesbian!
The song's level is very low this year! galantis.athens
The level is very law this year! galantis.athens
Guyz , i just noticed my 3 best artistz are competing in this contest! Sakis Rouvas , Westlife and Shiri Maimon! Only Robbie Williams is missing...!
By the way , ESCTODAY.COM , will u report any article about Shiri Maimon's new video clip??? Rumours say that she'z lesbian! This is what it seems like in her video clip!!!
Ohh yes, Israel with Shiri Maimon! People you have to watch the live performance for the song by Shiri...

http://br.youtube.co(...)/watch?v=46_DsPEJEvg
see portugal music is amazing!!! far the best!
I have just heard all songs...and I think Israel is best...Shiri is great...and she was my favourite in 2005...
Lithuania, Lithuania!! Aistë is awsome!!
Amazing, the majority of the songs taking part in this contest is so much better that the ESC ones! It really is not necessary to sing in English to win any song contest , and I´m talking strictly about songs/singing.
@ Michael UK
i agree with u on some points.yeah boyzone became big after take that split up.isn't always like that?new kids on the block splits up,backstreet boys becomes big,etc
n i think take that were n still in a different league
thats why we shouldnt commentate take that n boyzone at the same level
when it comes to westlife i find their music close to boyzone.maybe caus of beats of irish pop or because ronan keating of boyzone gave full support to them(i can smell some boyzone on a few ballads)
but of course none of two couldnt be a new take that
IGOR,
I agree.
