Alla Jag Vill and Papeles mojados
Greece: Helena Paparizou in Sweden and Spain
The album, Alla himlens änglar, the second part of the Arn saga, was released on 27th August and it contains two songs by Greek Eurovision winner, Helena Paparizou and two more by Sonja Alden who finished 7th in the 2007 Melodifestivalen. Other MF participants in the album are Tommy Körberg and Anders Glennmark. The theme song of the film is performed by Marie Fredriksson, the female part of Roxette and it recently topped the Swedish singles charts, the first single of Marie to do so.
But Helena is not doing well only in Greece, where he new album, Vrisko to logo na zo, topped the local charts and Sweden. Her latest duet with popular Spanish band Chambao, is currently being played in Spanish clubs receiving a great response by the audiences. Papeles mojados is included in Helena's latest album

or let me pu tit this way, go to google and type in Helena my nuber 1 eurovision 2005 and watch the performance via youtube: just consider the very beginning of the performance, the first line of the song where she sing "you're my lover under cover you're my secret passion and i have no other" and watch her movements carefully (sex symbol) or the bit where she sing "you're addiction, my conviction" how she communicates with male dancers (Erotism).

I think someone's confusing the word erotic for sexy. There is a difference.
Helena paparizou, my nuber 1 show was defenitely erotic, they used erotism as an opportunity to do the trick, to win interest and to win esc by looking at the previous winners such as Sertab who carried burning sensuality (Belly dance) to the stage and won for Turkey, thereofre Greece thought noooo, turkey won esc and it be shame on us not to win after many many years so the year after Turkey won, in 2004 Greece send Sakis and to belly dancing like birds with him on stage to win but they managed to reach top 3 with erotic style and they decided to follow that format and in 2005 they send a bimbo like Helena with 4 male dancers to be more niticable and erotic ofcourse and they won it. As for Ukraine's Shady Lady, she scored just same as Helena Paparizou, that is 230 points with erotic show.
I am not saying there is anything wrong with using erotism, like i said, its an apportunity that countries wants to take advantage of, and it works well so it is obvious they don't want to miss that opportunity, therefore we cannot say Greece didn't have that opportunity, Helena was perfect opportunity, the show was erotic, go and watch my nuber 1 performance again and see how Helena dance and communicate with her dancers, and if you still deny erotism was used then that is totally up to you, i know my view and Helena and Greek delication also knows what they did to win esc, but the song was nothing special, without erotism, hot dance it would have been very hard to win with that song of easy lyrics, cause it is not hard to write stuff like you're my lover under cover etc....

For the person who asked, regarding "Papeles Mojado", Elena sings in both Greek and Spanish. She sings the intro in Greek, and the chorus in Spanish.

Paparizou does have an amazing voice. Check out her live in France with Nana Mouskouri. Or her new ballad "Mathe Prota Na Agapas" for example. All summer long she has had sold out shows. Alpha will be airing one of the concerts this December, so I am happy for that.
And you can not say that she is still carrying the ESC thing in Greece and is doing well only because of that. She has changed her style completely with the new album (rock) and it is still topping the charts.
By the way, American E! channel is doing a special called "Worlds Sexiest People". Guess who they got on it? Elena will appear on it. I think it airs end of September.

Maybe we have a different view of what's an 'erotic show'
Cyprus is gonna win ESC next year?: Are you having a laugh!! The choreography for "my number one" isn't designed to be just "erotic". Obviously the routine is very saucy to go with the song, but it isn't intended to be "erotic"! And those lyrics are hardly erotic, virtually every pop song has lyrics like that.

The choreography of my number 1 was defenitely erotic, mini skirt, hot legs and movements especially in the beginning of the song/performance where she was using both of her hands, touching herself using sex symbol, below are the erotic words of my number 1:
