Report and pictures from Moscow
First semifinal : First dress rehearsal
As expected for a first run, there were some technical glitches during the introduction, which had to be started again from the beginning. But soon, the show got going and the transition between each entry went smoothly, with pyros, lighting and routines running well for the most part.
The microphone did not work for the first few bars of the Czech Republic's entry, and Bulgaria's Krassimir sounded particularly quiet in the hall as he began to sing, but there are still two full rehearsals to sort out these problems. That also goes for the presenters, who are still have a couple of times to get their lines completely right, both of them relying heavily on their cards today!
As expected for the first dress rehearsal, the hall was not particularly full at all despite ticket sales, although the journalist enclosure was particularly well-attended by the visiting press.
The biggest rounds of applause this afternoon went to Sweden, Armenia, Turkey, Iceland and Bosnia-Herzegovina - whether subsequent audiences will favour these entries remains to be seen!
You can see our gallery from the first dress rehearsal, live in the hall, at this link .

@Adnan Sobo
You don't have to prove anything to some of mean-spirited people, my dear. We all know we have a good place to host the show IF victory comes our way. Let's hope for the best
Good luck Regina.
Heyy European Turks don't watch that stupid Binbir Gece series for God's sake. It is so dreadful that it has lost most of its audience recently. And I tell you, there will be a grey ending about Şehrazat and Onur whether they come together again or not, will be ambiguous. And just don't bother, watch the first semi final of Eurovision and Hadise will be hotter than hell. You won't regret it because stupid Binbir Gece will be revised for a couple of times while there is no other for tonights Eurovision show.
Elena you are the best!!!And HOT in a decent way!!! GOOO GOO ROMANIA!!!!

Another reason to hate Binbir gece
i'm going to try and watch both the semi and Binbir Gece... and hopefully be in time to watch and vote for Turkey and Bosnia
I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE
hay ben bin bir gecenin ...........
i hope they will watch!!!
Omg i didn't know tommorrow is the last episode of binbir gece.Too bad for Hadise. No diaspora votes
I'm worried that not all the Turks in Europe will be watching the semi finals for two reasons. 1) not everybody knows about the semis. 2) Tomorrow is the last ever episode of Bin Bir Gece so many people will be watching that...
Hadise's dress is not that good but at least it stands out . Most of the people will watch the performances for the first time.So it's a good thing for her to have such a dress.
