The 2010 esctoday.com National Final Awards will be held between April and May, which means between the national final season and the Eurovision Song Contest. We will repeat the same format with two rounds for nominations which was used this year - you can read how it works here. However, this time the individual polls for each country will always be held right after the national final, when the entries are still fresh. You can vote for your favourite performance not to qualify in the Cypriot national final here and for your favourite song not to qualify here.

So far this is my favorite song this year. Definitely refreshing after all the unoriginal songs that Scandanavia is sending.

Not bad but not great...... may scrape in to the top 10 overall next year. Not a winner though.
Cyprus 2011!!!!
Well he is featured in the BBC news today. He runs a small recording studio in Wales and wrote several songs and put them on the internet. Surfing around the Cypriot writers of this year's song found his song and liked the voice ...so that's how contact was made. But it's all a bit strange as going to the NF in Larnaca was his first visit to Cyprus ever!

well maybe he didnt want to represent the uk cause he's one of those welsh guys who wants nothing to do with england... i mean some ministers want wales to go seperate to eurovision now the EBU said the united kingdom can split into 4 participants...
you do have to admit the welsh have very good singing voices, even if he does sound a little bit american, i have to agree with everyone i think its wierd cyprus arn't sending a cypriot, they've even been stingy about sending people from greece in the past, maybe there turning into greece and will be sending foriegners instead?

I totally missed this news because of all the fuss about the Dutch entry (most Dutch people are ashamed of it). The song is chill and I allready wondered why his English was so good, now I know. Allthough I doubt it will make top 5 at least it is a decent song which we really needed since what we've seen until now !

Wow he's Welsh? what is he doing in Cyprus? actually, a pleasant enough song which I think could actually qualify, but if you asked me to hum it again now after hearing it I wouldn't be able to to! unlike that damn Dutch shalalishalala which I can't get out of my head and probably won't sleep tonight because of it!!..therapy will be required!...
Now don't get me wrong I like this song and I think it will do well.
But why have Cyprus chosen a completely Welsh man to sing for them? I mean normally they choose someone from a Greek Cypriot family at least maybe resident in London or something, but this guy is not even related to Cypriots at all ...he is just Welsh from Gwent...what's the point? Why didn't he apply to the BBC to sing Pete Waterman's song instead ?

If I heard this song on the radio, I would not switch to another station...
He sings well and plays the guitar. Two pluses in my book.
However, I felt that song ended a bit abruptly.

The only one I liked is Lithuania 2007!
