To celebrate 25th anniversary of Aides

Fabian & St-Pier's "Message" against AIDS

One of France's major associations fighting against AIDS, "Aides", celebrated its 25th anniversary last February 15 and published a CD compilation entitled Message, with participations of two Eurovision glories.

Natasha St-Pier (France 2001) sings a version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, which was covered and popularized by Jeff Buckley. Lara Fabian (Luxembourg 1988) gives her own version of Amoureuse, a song written and performed by Véronique Sanson, back in 1972 (the song was sung in English dozens of times since its first release).

The 16-track CD also has songs by M. Pokora, Jenifer, Tom Frager, Sliimy, Victoria Abril, Anggun, Daniel Powter, Sofia Essaïdi, Bob Sinclar... and 2010 "non entrant" Christophe Willem. If is the opening and collective song.

Official clip can be watched below:

This article is precisely the reason why I think ESCtoday is so great. When artists I used to like decades ago release new material in a country I normally don't get much news from, I would have missed those releases were it not for Dominique and the others. Well done to them, they make the whole Eurovision experience music more interesting for me and a lot of others. Good job, guys! ;)

Is there a link to see Natasha singing Hallelujah?

Please, learn to live with differing opionons. And yes, good manners are important to me.

It would be a nice song in ESC, the only problem is that there is to many people (14), as in ESC would be just possible 6 :)

I keep wondering. Why do some people read and even comment on news they are not interested in? They could simply ignore those news instead of being rude to the esctoday team, which does such a great job for us all.
..
lmao are you the ESCtoday 'Teacher's pet' or something? :P

I for one don't care..
