Let me just add that I have Spain in nº 1 too. However I like 'It's for you' very much. I am eager to watch its live performance. It could easily join Spain abd Albania to form my top 3.

Rita,
our taste is very similar. I have Turkey in my no 6 and Finland in my no 7 ;)

placing Spain as 1st. that makes me question your sanity

Zanic, my top 5 are the songs I like, not the songs I predict to be in the top 5 in May.
I don't care (and shouldn't care) if none of them even makes it to the actual top 5..they are my preference and that's that.

And if you're still questioning my sanity, then something is very wrong with your English ;)

Zanic

Musical taste'as any other "taste", is in the ear of the beholder. It is so subjective you cannot claim a person does not have a musical taste...
wonder what you will think of my top list
Spain
Finland
Armenia
Slovakia
Poland/Turkey

Good luck Lithunia.I guess it is Aiste's night but I wish to see either Agama or Eden (personal taste)

Ms. Kavanagh is the new Vanessa Williams (with all my respects for the wonderful woman who plays Ms. Slater in one of my most beloved TV-shows).

What I'm trying to say is that she reminds me of Ms. Williams in the 'Pocahontas' soundtrack.

Aww Sarcasm. Thats cute.. NOT :P
But I hope Daniel and you have a great time together (that is if you have tickets to watch ESC live) You can hold his hand as he realises he will repeat the same fate as So many other 00's Spanish entries. I predict 20th - 25th place for Daniel atm. because his song is very weak and if sung for Andorra for example in SemiFinal stages would not even make the Final in this weak year.

Sure you have the right to your own opinion, but placing Spain as 1st. that makes me question your sanity

you have obviously no musical taste at all to say Ireland can't be in the top 5

Zanic,
I didn't say it can't be in the Top 5, I said
in MY top 5 since I don't like any of the 5 songs...and I assume I'm allowed to have my own top 5? :O
Or should I have asked your permission first?
Hmmmmmmmmm..let me think....................nahhh hhhh, I don't think so..I'm a big girl and I can have my own top 5..yayyyyyyyyy :P

As to your opinion on my top 5 and my taste, let me reflect on it for a second...ok, second passed and WOW..guess what... I couldn't care less about your opinion :P

Cheers :D

Where are the Irish songs please? They are not on this site as far as I can see.

Michael UK

The recorded version of "In your eyes" did not contain those high recorded notes at the end ;)

Niamh only added them in at the Eurosong 93 and Eurovision 93 (L)
So who knows 2morro night we (probably will) could be blown away with her epic live voice

you have obviously no musical taste at all to say Ireland can't be in the top 5 when;

1) The song has not been chosen
2) Niamh has probably got the best song of ESC so far..
3) also Monce and Leanne also both have okay songs, if either win they too would make my top 10.. but niether of them have songs worth top 5.

But after all from your top five here is my opinion's on them;

1) Spain - this is so overrated for you. Its also a bland boring song
2) Poland - A good song. I also like this
3) Cyprus - bland - won't make the Final
4) Armenia - Okay(ish) but disapora = top 5
5) Switzerland - won't make the final. So cra

Ok!
For me Turkey 08 is typical rock (rock cliche) and I'm not rock fan, that's why I don't like it! This year it's not mess of music as you said but mix of different genres Manga always does! That's why I like it! :)

Shevek Urras [60988]
Thu 4 Mar 2010 18:22:07

Well Marko, Turkey 10 is professionally produced and Manga know what they are doing, but I much prefer Turkey 08, to give you an example. This is better that some of the songs already selected but I think I will end up ranking it mid-table. They will end up there as Turkey always does, I am sure.

Oh I missed that comment, sorry!
I'm a bit surprised tbh! :)
That song is so quality!

Mina X [59957]

I don't know why people are giving their top 5 when Ireland's song hasn't been chosen yet

Because I heard the 5 songs and I don't like any of them. Even if I find one of them better tomorrow night, it won't make my top 5.
Simple :)

Shevek Urras [60988]
Thu 4 Mar 2010 17:53:12

Marko, I wrote this about Turkey:

Thu 4 Mar 2010 02:15:04

"I have been listening to this song and I really cannot understand all the hype surrounding it. It did nothing for me. The lyrics are OK, but the music is a bit noisy and the melody is messy and confusing. I admit that it is better than those 'gems' from Iceland and Belarus, but I stop there. Good luck, Turkey."

Best of Luck to both Countries ;) (L)

Btw, thanks for the link of Irish radio you posted in the morning, via it we could listen songs! :)

I don't know why people are giving their top 5 when Ireland's song hasn't been chosen yet. Niamh will probably win though. But don't just dismiss it after one listen. We need to see it first.

Last year, the first time people heard Iceland's entry they thought it was boring. But it ended up coming 2nd!!!
