Cyprus: The fuzzy, warm feeling of Jon Lilygreen
He went up against all odds taking part in the Cyrpiot final never thinking he would make it. But he did and now he feels he owes the Cyrpriot public to do his best to justify their trust. Jon Liligreen is not in this business for the fame, he says. He loves to sing and play his acoustic guitar and he wants people to get a fuzzy warm feeling from his music.
Among other things, Jon tells us all about how Life looks better in spring came about when it was sent to his dad's recording studio in a very basic form.

Pitty that Cyprus is participating in a more taugh semi with many ballads. However I am still optimist that we will do very well this year.

Of course I'm not saying Cyprus doesn't deserve these points. They've sent a lot of good songs over the last few years. Still, what we have the UK is a lot more than a simple disapora. Many people who appear and sound 100% English will have some Cypriot roots or even be half Cypriot themselves. I don't know why this is, but what can you do eh?
I like this song a lot but I'm hoping and waiting for an even stronger new version. I see it as a dark horse to win.
The UK almost always gives 12 points Cyprus (when we can) because there are so many people here who are half Greek/Greek Cypriot or have Cypriot roots. SO many!
Doesn't the UK vote in the semi where Cyprus is? And him being Welsh could we see some nice points
What a great song
Cyprus ftw !
I quite like this song, a good change from the last few years weak entries...
I want to thanx the Turkish people who respect my countrey, @ozi countrey and @Angelic countrey name
, maybe some of them dont mean it but ok the point is that they call my countrey name without south and north , i dont have anything with Turkish or turkish cypriots ..actuall i want to be my friends , but some persons like @Matt Lavinne really give a bad image to Turkish people
his smile gives me a fuzzy, warm feeling
Good luck Cyprus
OMG.... I didn't realise he is from Wales......
What is it with singers from the UK singing for Cyrpus. Hahaha. Good luck to him though.
I would LOVE to see Cyprus win this year, They have to be in the TOP 3!!!!
well from what I understand he doesn't have a drop of Cypriot blood in him!
anyway I quite like the song, it has a nice "hook" and I feel it could be a bit of a "dark horse" this year
@craven dish
just to put your mind at rest "fag" = British English for cigarette! so he likes drinking and smoking like most Brits of his age! :-)
matt
u are pathetic...
@Ozi
Thats true
not only crazy but alot of the users are fake mickey mouse actors/actresses posing under fake identities in my opinion!
I think he looks mediterranean but saying that alot of Welsh people have dark hair and eyes too
His hot
song is not bad especially this year i think cyprus will be in the final and even can get a really good result , low quality song except 9-10 songs esc 2010 is really not worth watching , good luck
@ Angelic, I wouldnt trust youtube or escfan users on this LOL. Most of them are crazy
He has dark hair but other than that I dont see any Cypriot features in him.
@Ozi
Possibly
But some people on this site and on youtube have been saying the guy is half greek-cypriot. I must admit there is not alot of information about him on the internet. He must have just very recently come on the scene.
@ Angelic, I think that is just a rumour. If he was Cypriot we would have known about it a long time ago.
