One of my fav songs, the vid is good, I like the effects on his eyes ! xD The sound is fantastic, having in mind I don't understand a thing what he says, but I hope he won't sing in English at least on Oslo's stage, the song is perfect just like goes !

Bit of a cheap video but a good song :)
Good luck Bulgaria :D

@Roza Bela

Well it all depends on who is listening, don't you think so?? I personally like and enjoy songs with or without those elements you mentioned :) but other people might differ. Whether I do think or whether I don't think the song I am listening to indicates reality, does not govern whether I enjoy the song or not. Do you understand what I mean??

I do think one must connect with the lyrics of a song but having said that I also think that you don't necessarily have to understand the lyrics to feel connected to a song.
For example, there are many songs in other languages which I don't understand at all but I still feel connected or enjoy listening to them. :)

"... songs do not have be realistic to be good especially those catered for children"

Do you mean a song is realistic if it does not include symbols, hyperbolas, metaphors, myths, mythical personages? Do such song exist?

It sounds me very... like the way engineers think. I have met many engineers, who need to have something tangible in order to recognize it as a reality.

Well, it's mentioned something about children in the beginning indeed. :)

@Roza Bela

Prehaps the language barrier has prevented me from fully understanding the true meaning of the song. I am just going by what Miro said in his interview about the main message his song conveys to the listeners which seemed like a reference to one's "inner-child". But you are absolutley right songs do not have be realistic to be good especially those catered for children.

I also agree that the video gives a very good indication of anomie within society. :)

"I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say... the song is nice but doesn't fit well into the real world"

Sorry if I have misunderstood you. It's maybe because I really found the psychoanalytical interpretation on the song quite complicated to be comprehended...

By the way, if talking about realism are Harry Potter, Forrest Gump, Sixth Sense ..., even Desert Rose of Sting more realistic?

Clearly, the arts including the musical one do not necessarily have to be realistic to be good. And sometimes, the personages are just symbols of the real life's images and experiences.

In this particular case, I find the video somehow interprets
the text linking it to the Christian mythology and such very human phenomena as hope and salvation after desperation and moral lapse; this interpretation makes me like the song more. Talking about moral lapse I mean the two typical personages in the video, which in Bulgaria symbolize moral lapse but resulting with better life standard: a prostitute (with a client) and a "mutra (a kind of hidden criminal)" with his expensive car who also join the angel's procession...

Agian...maybe I'm strange but I like this song....although it's not something special it still gives me a nice feeling...I'd easily put it on the car stereo during a long journey! The more I hear it the more I like it....but I'm one of the few so I'm affraid it won't even make it to the final....
Good luck Bulgaria

I myself will be happy, if Miro presents the song well, and more visitors like his performance.

@Roza Bela

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I like this year's Bulgarian Entry very much, and I also think very highly of Miro too. I just think the message in the song is nice but doesn't fit well into the real world but I suppose most messages in some songs are like that.

I never mean't to say it in a rude or arrogant manner so I do apologise if it came across that way. My opinions do have a tendency to make people on this site feel uncomfortable for some reason :P and I don't usually intend to cause ill-feelings unless someone annoys me of course. :)

Meanwhile having looked at the map of the 2 semifinals, BG chances for the final look not quite high: http://www.allkindso(...)hing.ie/Oslo2010.htm . Greece, Macedonia (FYR), Spain, Albania that we had got some points from are in the other semifinal.

Maybe you just like a song or not. If not, no philosophy or approach can help. But if there is some kind of political attitude (as obviously the British citizens have towards Bulgaria and Bulgarians in general) it's just hopeless.

sorry I meant to write @Roza Bela :P :)

@Bela Roza

Well I myself am open to all kinds of schools of thought especially contrasting psychological schools of thought. :)

@Angelic Loves Kenan & Kanye West- All Falls Down [59883]

Well, it's quite a deep analysis. I need time to understand it and think of it.

Now, I can just say I'm rather a fan of the Psychosynthesis methodology (a counselling approach, which is opposed to the psychoanalysis, and does not deny human spirituality and the connection of the human with what we call God)...

Nice but not for top 5!

@Roza Bela

Miro says we all forget we are angels???

He is refering to the "inner child" which is psychoanalytical perspective.

It is a nice ideology and I do agree that people should have self-respect and self-worth. But I am afraid his song is not realistic as in todays world/society people don't have time to nuture and connect with their "conscious self" let alone their "inner-child" and/or "unconscious-self".
