Song presentation soon
Montenegro: Rambo Amadeus to sing Euro neuro
Rambo Amadeus was internally selected by the Montenegrin national television (RTCG) to represent his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan. He will perform a song called Euro neuro which is going to be presented most likely in February as the working crew is currently doing the mastering and mixing.
"The text has such expressions like cycling... There are also terms relating to ecology, and Montenegro as ecological state ", says Radmila Vojvodic, art director of the project.
He adds: "When I had chosen [Rambo], I knew that I should not suffocate his creative potential. So, it's on. And so it should be. I didn't wanted to change Rambo for Eurovision, but I invited him to make a song that fits into his previous work and image, which was done. And those who were disappointed that he decided to participate in Eurovision have no reason to be because the music has remained consistent at what he is known".
The song Euro neuro will be presented most likely in February.

Montenegro is very unlucky country :( All ex yugo are in second semi !! And not only that.... Montenegro will be on stage on first half of first semifinal... imagine if again Montenegro open the show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thing they must change the singer and song beacuse that type of songs is not so popular :(
His name is Rambo Amadeus?!?? Are they having a laugh???? :-D
On paper it sounds nightmarishly bad.
This does not sound promising. oii veyii. All our comments are obviously null as we are simply guessing, but this info doesn't leave a lot of hope.
Blah. We finally have artist which is popular in ex Yu...and whole ex Yu is in second semifinal... With draw like this, maybe Adele will pass semi... :) I predict bottom 3, whatever the song...
An 'ecological' song? "Euro-neuro"? It's a joke entry all right. I hope it will be a good one. There are good joke entries and there are joke entries that make me want to cringe. Maybe Moldova should make an entry about the War of Spanish Succession next year. Or lead pipes. Who knows? @Paschalis: Happy (Belated) birthday! :D
Curious about their comeback ! I will wait to hear the song before casting my comment !
At least it will be different! I just hope it will be in a good way and if it isn't - then at least it will be more interesting than the usual poppy filler material. :) I am very curious about his entry.
Well, i will wait to listen to "Euro neuro"!It probably won't be among my favorites but i want divertsity in the contest so a cult or alternative or what have you song is welcomed.
This will be different. I doubt most ESC fans will like it, but I don't think it will be bad.
I have no idea why Montenegro have returned to this contest only to enter a joke song. Euro Neuro an ecological song sounds absolutely ridiculous. Why are they bothering?
Hi! I'm very curious to listen to his entry. Of course I hope for a very strong song. Good luck Montenegro! p.s.: Happy birthday Paschalis! Have a nice day! ;-)
I already had a bad feeling for Montenegro this year and it can only get worse hearing the title of the song and the description above...I am prepared for the worse here, so I might not be that dissapointed at the end..I mean how much worse than Moldova 11 for instance could it be ?
*even remotely, that is :)
Paschali, me too. I think it would be good for Greece to send a band for a change; plus if they send anything remotely similar to "Kryfa" I'll be more than happy. I.m.o. it is great pop music stuff.
@oxi Thank you!! I really hope that the rumour is true, because Melisses are one of my favourite greek bands.
I agree with Paschalis; alternative is one thing, joke entry is another. I guess I'll have to wait for the song itself. Good luck Crna Gora! PS: Happy Birthday Dr Paschalis! ;) :) Anything new on the rumours on Melisses representing Greece this year?
I don't like joke entries.
Some people can't realize the difference between an alternative song and a joke entry.
come on guys...don't you like joke entries? :D
Montenegro drew to be in first half of first semifinal ( again ) and i hope will not open the first semifinal ( again ). That country have such bad luck. After 2 years withdrawing came this year with hopes and all the rest ex yugo countries are in second semifinal and also draw in first half of first semifinal . :( I hope the song will be very very very good , beacuse only the song can save Montenegro.
Ladies and gentlemen meet the gimmick act of the year! I'm sure the song it would be a total crap, he'll be dressed like a clown and Montenegro won't pass the Semifinal, once again. If they made a comeback it should have been a Boom, not a flop....
Shit! 0 points!
Well, if Alf Poier could get away with it...
Listening to his previous songs plus the title of his entry, I don't have a good feeling for Montenegro.
Brave man! ;) Good luck Montenegro.
Sounds painful...
