I loooooooove her and this song sounds great, so will def. vote for her
Already looking good for La Belle France - looking forward to whole version!
My girlfriend loved this clip :) And yep...sounds very nice!
In my dreams, in my dreams, in my heart, in my mind i see you and i, thaaat was you and i - nice rhytm.
hahahahahaahaha ........... This is gonna be a disaster :D I don't care about her as an artist (I'm sure she is fine), but this song has NO SUBSTANCE !!!!!!!! :) Just saying .........
Wait for the darn song you smarty pants!
i speak french and I hear nothing wrong with Anggun's accent
No matter if this is a demo or not. I am glad it's an uptempo track and not another sloppy old-fashioned ballad, like the one from 2009. Amaury and his coldness was something to forget, too. Looking forward to hearing the full song next Sunday.
I can't wait sunday!
I don't like to judge songs by a snippet as often the full version is much better OR much worse. But my first impression is that I will like the song. It certainly sounds more promising than Denmark, Switzerland or Albania. Bonne Chance France!
I wonder who leaked this snippet to this website. Sounds like Warner music are angry about it, and it was not the finished version!! They should not do that.
her voice is weird in this song:S and song is nothing special i hope full version will be better
well...that's exaxtly the sound I expected, knowing who are the people that have been working on the song...I like it till there...sounds promising for the long version....however..I still think France 3 should have prepared several song for Annggun and submit them all to french audience....I think a song has to pass the national audience before going to international contest....
not yet the best impression. galantis . athens
If this is the French song in 2012 I have to say it is not bad at all, judging by this snippet. I have a high hope for France now and let's wait until Sunday to listen to the full song. :) My current ranking: 1. Cyprus 2. Denmark 3. Albania 4. Switzerland
This song not yet final touch !!!! WARNER MU...SIC PRESS RELEASE -- Warner Music France deeply regrets the leak of un-finished audio material of the song 'Echo (You and I)' performed by Anggun. The final version of the song will be previewed in its entirety (2'59) on Jan. 29 during the Midem. The track will then be available for listening on france3.fr website starting 4pm French time.
This is not the final version! lol
SO LOOKS LIKE WE ARE NOT HEADING FOR PARIS 2013. SOUNDS BAD SO FAR
anggun noooooooooooooo what a let down!
I like her but i haven't heared the song yet (my low damn speed) any way i'll be waiting for the final vesion :-D
Oh god I hope they don't ban the whistling from the track when this is performed in the final. If they do, I sure hope they can find a damn good whistler to do it live.
I reserve judgement until I hear the entire song, but I'm not overly impressed yet. Its ok, but thats just it, its ok, there is nothing particularly offensive about it, but then nothing to scream about either, nothing to get your teeth stuck into. Its kinda Anggun all over though, i've thought that about her other songs. she is a great singer but I can't help thinking "COME ON girl belt something INTERESTING out!"
Funny to see a Cypriot citizen finding Anggun's accent in french almost terrible... I'm french and think she has no accent ... :) Funny to see people finding the song "different" or strange or horrible... this is a eurovision fans forum right ? And to me this song is really eurovisionesque, catchy and easy to listen to... It sounds like a swedish pop song, so eurovision fans should like it, shouldn't they ? Anyway, every year it's almost impossible to predict the winner or the taste of the european public, so... all these conversations aren't really important I guess :)
I liked sognu... I don't like this
I don't like it. It sounds like schlager while Angguns' accent in French is almost terrible. I am looking forward to the complete song.
Are we going to France in 2013?
@Kamil J [61005] You're right! - As a huge Britney fan, I can tell that the French entry doesn't sound like "I Wann Go" at all! - Britney has'nt the copyright of using whistles for a bridge. However, the snippet reminds me of Cher, Bob Sinclair and David Guetta. It's a great mix and I think that it can go well.
