I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE HUGE CORRECTION TURKEY FINNISHED 4th IN 2004. PLEASE SORT THAT OUT.
Hi. Please feel free to check the new version of url=http://thankyouhelena.tripod.com]http://thankyouhelena.tripod.com/url]
It's about Helena Paparizou of course! ;-)
(i)Marilyne Marina. You are so right about the way the selection should happen. UK always did better when we had one person or group presenting the songs.
It always used to be on a Saturday evening over six weeks I think. FAR FAR better than the awful programme called Making Your Mind Up!!!!! which is how we select our song at present.
Cant wait for Athens 2006. I think it is going to be one of the best ESC.
If anyway wants to chat via email I will happily stay in touch. Have already got some really good ESc mates from around the world via this website!

they will choose their representatives this way. Starting with Turkey having three candidates for Athens: Nil, Izel and Sefarad. Turkey used this selection method in 2003 when they won the Eurovision Song Contest and finished 5th the following year with a similar selection method.
WHAT IS THIS?????
TURKEY FINISHED 4TH, NOT 5TH!!!!
anyone who have heard anything from SCG about next years singer/song hehe
Peter Eriksson I agree.... and we Swedes don't want to see Jessica and Magnus in Fame to participate again NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Thay aren't real artist.
Hope Germany wins!
I don't have problems with the Romanian selection for Eurovision Song Contest Junior or senior, we always had good songs and in 2006 it will be the same, a winner song
Good luck Romania !!!

Don't be afraid and try, try to reach the sky
i hope that MAYA BUSKILA or MIRI MESIKA will represent israel
they r both very very seccessful in isral
I hope my home country Germany will finally stay away from participating than sending in such a crap every year which represent absolutely NOT what is REALLY heard by the people in Germany today.
It is not high possible to see Sarbel for Greece next year.It is just a rumour from some cypriot media.I agree Chronis, female singer for sure! All the 3 singers that you mentioned could do well.
Les na pame gia thn deyterh nikh????MAKARI
gooooooooooo SERBIA & MONTENEGRO
sarbel to represent cyprus pls
i want a female singer to represent us next year(elli kokkinou, despina vandi, annet etc)
Hope next year eurovision will be presented by Helena Paparizou (I Think your the one)
it has appeared recently in several cypriot magazines that sarbel will be choosen(asked) to represent greece, of course none of the magazines was able to verify these info ........
Over here in Philadelphia I have just managed to buy the ESC cd from Tower records. Has anyone else experienced this...........some of the songs sound so much better on the cd, in fact there are some brilliant songs from this year. Some sound so much better than when I watched the contest in May.
Denmark, Bosnia, Lithuania, Serbia etc even Spain sounds wonderful!!
Definitely Corfu is a very important place for our country's musical tradition.
Ok lets choose something that it sounds European and pop for ESC 2006,but do you think that only European and pop sounds represent our country?
An 8eleis steile mou mail na ta poume ekei!
Come on EuroFan!
you are very unfair towards Elli!
Elli has a great stage performance,I am sure that with a song like "Masai" she would do great in ESC 2006.
If not Elli, then who do you suggest for our representative???
Dear all,
One thing that I can tell for sure is that, all Greek people, hence our national broadcaster ERT as well,we intend to organise one of the best events in the ESC history. Definitely for those of you that you are planning to visit Athens next year, be sure that we will show you the Greek hospitality as we did last year in the Olympics.
I truly wish good luck to all the participating countries.
On what concerns our preselection, as I have said in a previous reaction I don't think that Despoina Vandi is Greece's only chance.Despoina is my favourite singer BUT we also have various interesting and talented artists who could be our representatives.Eg
Elli Kokkinou
Michalis Hatziyiannis
Annet
C:Real
Matisse
Giorgos Christou
Sarbel etc etc
P.S Sietse,I guess that you and the rest of ESCtoday.com team will be in Athens next year, right??? Take care!
I would die if Germany would withdraw, it would be horrible. If they won't have a national final I hope them to choose a song written by Siegel/Meinunger, I think his "new" star Paloma, has a great chance to represent Germany in 2006. Her new album produced by Siegel are great!
