8th Kėnga Magjike
Ledina Ēelo wins second prize
Kënga Magjike is a very popular song festival in Albania that attracts many famous Albanian singers from all over the world. At first two hundred and seventeen songs were submitted in total, fifty nine of which qualified to the two Semi Finals on November 17 and 18, and from them ninenteen made it to the Final. Apart from the great names of the participants, what makes Kënga Magjike particularly popular is that all genres of music are represented from Ethno to Rap.
Veteran Kosovar singer and composer Armend Regjepagiçi won first place and the group West Side won third place. Helena Risteska, who represented FYR Macedonia in Athens 2006 with Ninanaja was a guest star who performed for the Albanian audience.

The song of Ledina Celo ‘Jemi te huaj’ is a powerful ballade.
She deserved the first place. ;-)
She won also in 2004 the audience award at the same festival Kënga Magjike .
